The 2010 CCC Annual General Meeting took place on Thursday, 10th June at the Guildhall. Amongst those attending were the new Mayor of Milton Keynes, Debbie Brock (pictured right with Diana Savage, CCC Chief Executive, and Geoff Plumb, CCC Trustee) and various other representatives of Milton Keynes Council, the Primary Care Trust and voluntary sector organisations within Milton Keynes.
The audience were treated to a very informative presentation by guest speaker Dr Lynne Gabriel (pictured right), Chair of the BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy) entitled “Statutory Regulation: Challenges and Opportunities”.
The presentation was well received by all, particularly the Counsellors amongst the audience who felt a sense of reassurance about the future plans for regulation of the profession.
There was an excellent turn-out for the event, and as ever at the CCC AGM many opportunities for networking and chatting over the buffet!
