BalancED MK: Milton Keynes Eating Disorder Support Services

BalancED MK is a Community Interest Company (CIC) that supports people affected by eating disorders, through self-support groups, one to one counselling and education.

We work mainly in the Milton Keynes and surrounding area and with people of all ages.

Support is offered for any type of disordered eating, whether that be not eating enough, eating too much, being sick after food or a mixture of all the above.

Despite being a serious mental health issue, eating disorders CAN be beaten. With help, advice and support, it IS possible to recover and live a happy, balanced life.

BalancED MK – Services

ReBalance Self Help Group Positively challenging eating disorders together - this group is supported by BalancED MK

A friendly group for anyone affected by an eating disorder including carers.

We meet at Swinfen Harris Hall in Stony Stratford on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month from 10am-12noon.

The first hour covers a variety of interesting topics to give you a toolkit for recovery and the second hour allows for informal chatting in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere.

Specialist counselling service

One to one counselling may be of help in dealing with some eating disorders and for helping with long term recovery.  We have experienced counsellors who have received specific eating disorder related training.

You can refer yourself to the service, or your GP can.  Initial appointments can be arranged so please call or email.

If you call our mobile number 07716 755804 we will answer if we can but if we are away from the phone, please leave a message or send a text and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

A donation for each session is requested based on your ability to pay.  This will be explained at the initial appointment.
